Custom Tools & Dashboards

Custom tools and dashboards, built around your workflow

When a subscription tool almost fits, the answer is often a small tool that fits exactly: a Chrome extension, an internal dashboard, or an automation that removes the manual step your team repeats every day.

The short answer

This is the team that builds and runs its own tools: our published Chrome extensions include a truck dispatching dashboard, a dispatch training academy, and a LiveChat support assistant, and our free tools library runs to 40 small utilities. We build the same kind of tools for clients: fixed-scope, documented, and yours to own, with no per-seat subscription attached.

Who this is for

For teams fighting their software instead of using it

Every operations team has a step like it: data copied between two systems by hand, a report rebuilt every Monday, a board that lives in someone's spreadsheet because the real tool costs per seat and still does not show the one number that matters.

Small, purpose-built tools remove those steps permanently. That is the work: find the friction, build the smallest tool that kills it, and hand over something your team owns.

Common problems we solve

Sound familiar?

  • The same data typed into two or three systems every day
  • Reports assembled by hand from exports, every week, forever
  • A SaaS tool that does 90 percent of what you need, at per-seat prices
  • Critical knowledge trapped in one person's spreadsheet
  • A browser workflow your team repeats hundreds of times a day
Scope of service

What we build

Chrome Extensions

Browser tools that sit inside the pages your team already works in: data capture, checks, and one-click actions where the work happens.

Internal Dashboards

One screen with the numbers and queues your team actually runs on, fed from your own systems instead of a Monday spreadsheet.

Workflow Automation

The repetitive steps between your systems automated: syncs, notifications, document generation, and status updates that happen on their own.

Reporting Tools

Reports that build themselves from your data on a schedule, in the format your clients or managers already read.

Small Web Apps

Focused applications in PHP and JavaScript for a single job done well: a tracker, a portal, a calculator, a checker your customers use.

Team Utilities

The small internal tools that never justify a procurement process: converters, validators, lookups, and QA helpers, like the 40 in our free library.

A note on scope: engagements are fixed-scope projects with the deliverable defined in writing before building starts. You own the code and the data. Native mobile apps and enterprise-scale platforms are not our lane, and we will say so at the audit stage rather than after your deposit.

How it runs

From friction to finished tool

Workflow audit

We watch the process as it runs today and identify the step a tool should remove, with the time it costs you now.

Written scope

The tool, its inputs and outputs, and what is excluded, defined in writing with a fixed price before building.

Build in milestones

You see working versions at each milestone and can correct direction while changes are still cheap.

Handover & docs

The finished tool, its documentation, and the code, handed over with a walkthrough for your team.

Scope, plainly

What is included, and what is not

Included
  • A written, fixed scope and price before building starts
  • Working versions at agreed milestones, with your feedback rounds
  • Documentation your team can operate and maintain the tool from
  • Full ownership of the code and your data at handover
  • A defined fix period for defects in the delivered scope
Not included
  • Native iOS or Android app development
  • Ongoing hosting and infrastructure fees (arranged in your name)
  • Features outside the written scope: quoted separately, never smuggled in
  • Rebuilding enterprise platforms: we will tell you at audit if your need is that size
How we work

Small tools, seriously built

  • Built from operations experience – we run support and dispatch teams ourselves, and the tools show it
  • Fixed scope, fixed price – the written scope is the contract, not a starting guess
  • You own it – code, data, and documentation handed over, no lock-in and no per-seat rent
  • Proven in public – our extensions and free tools are live for anyone to inspect before hiring us
How much does a custom tool cost?

It depends entirely on scope, which is why the audit and written quote come first and cost nothing. Small utilities and single-purpose extensions are modest fixed-price projects; dashboards and multi-system automations are larger. You will know the full price before building starts.

Who maintains the tool after handover?

You can, from the documentation we leave, or we can under a support arrangement. Because you own the code, any competent developer can also take it over. Nothing about the tool depends on us staying.

Can you improve a tool we already have?

Often, yes. The audit covers existing tools too: if yours can be extended or repaired sensibly, the scope will say so instead of defaulting to a rebuild.

In practice
